Description
Respecting ancient texts and traditional recipes, these Tibetan incense are made in India at the clinic of Dr. Dolkar, a doctor, descendant of the 15th generation of a line of famous Tibetan doctors. These Tibetan incense is a way to finance its mission: consultations to the people for a low consultation price. The composition of Tibetan incense depends on its use: incense used for meditation and ritual offerings, or as medicinal plants to soothe, relax, harmonize, relieve tension, energetic disorders and purify the air. Their woody, leathery, chypreous scents create an atmosphere of calm and harmony. Tensions, stress and trauma are analyzed by Tibetan medicine as an imbalance of the different ‘winds’ (Ch’i in Chinese, r’Lung in Tibetan, Vata in the Ayurvedic tradition). Tibetan incenses are therefore made from plants and wood powders, mixed with water, to rebalance the energies. The paste obtained is extruded in the form of rods. Tibetan incense blends often have dozens of plants. Some are known for their spiritual properties such as white and red sandalwood, oliban and Indian myrrh. Others are typically Tibetan such as the rhododendron, the ferrule, the fragrant inula or as the blue poppy of the Himalayas or Asafoetida. Uses: Relaxation. Incense Comes from Fair Trade.
